The New Home Company Announces Richmond American Homes as Latest Guest Builder at Bedford in South Corona as Sales Remain Brisk

More than 100 homes have sold since the start of the year at gated village set in the scenic foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains. 

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. (October 4, 2019) – The New Home Company (“NEW HOME,” NYSE: NWHM) today announced that nationally recognized Richmond American Homes has been selected as the latest guest builder at Bedford, the thoughtfully designed, gated village in South Corona, California, as sales in the masterplan remain brisk. According to NEW HOME, master developer of Bedford, more than 100 sales have been recorded in the community since the start of the year. 

Richmond American Homes will build Atwood, a collection of 59 single-family detached residences that will complete the first village in Bedford. In response to buyer demand, the homes at Atwood, designed by SDK Atelier, will feature three, one-story floorplans ranging from 1,946 to 2,210 square feet with three to four bedrooms and options including gourmet kitchens, private guest suites, and more.  All three plans include spacious master bedrooms with large walk-in closets, dining areas, kitchen islands for casual dining and large loggias for seamless indoor/outdoor living. The Grand Opening Celebration for Atwood is anticipated in early December 2019. 

Bedford, which is planned to include more than 1,600 homes upon completion, is the first residential community of this scale to arrive in Corona in more than 15 years. The village is set in a scenic location southwest of the Cajalco Road and I-15 interchange, which is currently being improved as a six-lane bridge with easy access to a new toll lane, on the site of a former citrus grove near the Santa Ana foothills. Early next year, NEW HOME will join officials from the City of Corona to celebrate the completion of the interchange, an important transportation milestone that will benefit drivers in the Inland Empire as it continues to grow.
