The New Home Company Adds to Bay Area Portfolio with Debut of Two Tech-Sector Communities

Following the success of its previous communities in the Bay Area’s tech sector, The New Home Company (NEW HOME, NYSE: NWHM) has announced that pre-opening sales are underway at The Landing West in Fremont and that pre-sales will launch at Ellison Park in Milpitas on September 9, 2017.

While construction is underway at The Landing West and Ellison Park, NEW HOME is beginning sales well in advance of early 2018 model home grand openings to meet strong demand at both neighborhoods. This comes on the heels of recently selling out its first three communities in the region: Emerson, which featured 33 contemporary residences in Santa Clara; The Landing East, which was comprised of 33 townhomes in Fremont; and Orchard Park, a master-planned community of 239 homes in the Berryessa District of San Jose.

The Landing West is a new collection of 25 multi-story, contemporary townhomes located in the heart of Fremont. Residents will enjoy the modern amenities of Bay Area living with close proximity to the Fremont Bart Station for easy access to the Silicon Valley. Designed by Dahlin Group Architecture Planning, The Landing West offers a variety of floorplans featuring 1,600 to 1,930 square feet of living space with up to four bedrooms and three and one-half baths. Prices start in the low $900,000s.

Ellison Park in Milpitas is a new neighborhood of 114 modern, multi-story townhomes located in the Center Pointe master-planned community. Ellison Park is centrally located near all major high-tech employment centers in the region, and will benefit from superior connectivity as two major freeways, light rail and the new city BART station are within walking distance.

Designed by JZMK Architects, the Ellison Park residences will range from 1,887 to 2,688 square feet with three bedrooms, three full baths and up to two half baths. Rooftop decks will also be available in select floorplans. The community is located directly across the street from the newly planned Milpitas city park and elementary school. Prices will begin in the low $900,000s.

“This area of the Silicon Valley, the ‘Golden Triangle,’ is a hidden gem for those looking for an attainably priced home in the tech capital of the world,” said NEW HOME Chief Marketing Officer Joan Marcus-Colvin. “As the technology industry continues to flourish, the need for more new homes that meet this region’s progressive architectural standards is crucial. We’ve worked hard to create floor-plan designs that will fit the lifestyles of today’s savvy buyers, and we think the amount of interest in our new projects along with our recent sales success in the area is validation that we are doing our part to meet this strong demand.”
