Sky Ranch’s Furnished Models by EBTA Architects

The New Home Company is pleased to introduce you to Carlos Elenes, President at EBTA Architecture. Carlos recently shared his feelings and inspirations around his team’s work at Sky Ranch.

Q:
Was there a singular area of emphasis that drove the inspiration behind Sky Ranch’s architecture?

CARLOS: My team and I placed a tremendous amount of importance on ensuring that the lifestyle of these homes led our thinking at all times. For future buyers, it’s an unmistakable Indoor/Outdoor California experience. The manner in which these homes mix outdoor spaces and incredible views allows for a lifestyle that is uniquely Sky Ranch.

Q:
How did you transform this lifestyle into speci c architectural realities?

CARLOS: Our lifestyle-geared approach is immediately present in all three models – expansive glass that reveals large yards, walls that open up in all directions to the outdoors; in some cases in two directions. We also took care to avoid any columns that would break up the views to ensure there was a seamless relationship between the indoor and outdoor experience.

Q:
As it relates to the furnished models, can you describe some of your favorite attributes at each home?

CARLOS: Our team, in conjunction with The New Home Company, really set out to do something a bit different and creative with our elevations. Sky Ranch has a very interesting and diverse street scene when compared to surrounding Orange County communities. Home shoppers will love the rich detailing and brick siding you nd in the Colonial style model. The cleaner and more contemporary lines of the San Jan Rustic elevation make it feel more ‘of today’. And the Spanish elevation – although rooted in traditional local charm of the region – is a much more open and less constrictive oorplan than one might have experienced in the past.
