The New Home Company Raises $65,000 for Hands4Hope at 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Donation will assist the non-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering youth in leadership and service in its efforts to expand to the Folsom area.

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (August 2, 2019) – As part of its dedication to helping the cities, families and neighborhoods in which it builds and beyond, The New Home Company (NEW HOME, NYSE: NWHM) has announced that it raised $65,000 for Hands 4 Hope at its 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament recently held at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln. The event attracted a full field of golfers, comprised of NEW HOME employees and its trade partners, to raise funds for Hands4Hope and the youth it serves.

The $65,000 donation made by NEW HOME will assist Hands4Hope, an El Dorado Hills-based non-profit, in expanding to Folsom where NEW HOME is developing the master-planned community of Russell Ranch. Hands4Hope is an organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering youth in leadership and service. It provides a platform for all youth participants to make their voices heard on issues affecting their community, while providing them the opportunity to take action in their own way.

Hands4Hope gives students, kindergarten through 12th grade, rich learning experiences that help them develop leadership skills while providing exposure to populations they may not encounter during their day-to-day life. Participants in Hands4Hope engage in activities that address human and community needs together, learning firsthand about social issues and the power they have to make a positive difference. Through these experiences, Hands4Hope youth find their passion and their voice, often recruiting fellow students and friends to join in their efforts.

“Hands4Hope is an amazing organization that is impacting young lives in a meaningful way,” said Kevin Carson, Northern California President for NEW HOME. “We are so pleased that the money raised will help them in their expansion to Folsom, a city we are proud to be a part of with Russell Ranch. The golf tournament was day of fun for all and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Hands4Hope in the future.”

NEW HOME has several award-winning residential communities in the greater Sacramento region, including The Cannery in Davis and McKinley Village in East Sacramento. Construction is now underway on the first homes in the highly anticipated Russell Ranchthe master plan emerging in the rolling hills of Folsom south of Highway 50.

Russell Ranch, which is part of the greater Folsom Plan Area, will include approximately 1,025 homes upon completion. The community has been designed to respect the natural topography of the land, presenting breathtaking views to the west and south from future residences. Rooted in the historical authenticity and natural beauty of Folsom, Russell Ranch’s neighborhoods will feature traditional single-family and court homes in varying architectural styles. Amenities within Russell Ranch will include nearly 10 miles of bicycle and pedestrian trails with pet-rest stations, a future 10-acre neighborhood park, and a future elementary school site. A private clubhouse will feature indoor and outdoor amenities that will provide a setting for neighborhood gatherings, recreation and fitness activities, as well as entertainment and dining.

A Grand Opening for Russell Ranch is currently planned for the first quarter of 2020.
